It is a colorless liquid at room temperature with a density of 1.2129 g/mL at 20 C. It is soluble in water up to 2420 mg/L at 25 C. It is classified by the EPA as a Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAPs). High mobility in soil is expected with Koc values ranging from 64-65. Volatilization from soil and water is expected to be a major method of removal.
