It is soluble in water up to 5 mg/L at 30 C and has a density of 1.17 g/mL at 20 C. As an acid, the compound has a pKa value of 4.30. A Koc value in the range of 950 – 8500 predicts it will have low mobility in soil. The compound does not absorb some of the wavelengths of UV light, so photolysis is not expected to be a major factor in removal. It is expected that bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms will be high.
