It is soluble in water up to 530 mg/L at 20 C. A wide range of Koc values from 22 – 2,230 indicate low to high mobility within soil. Photolysis from water and soil is expected to be a major fate process. Metolachlor ESA, and Metolachlor OA are environmental transformation products.
